Act Now Workshop

What a fabulous Act Now workshop last night at Mayflower Theatre, Southampton. ‘Ghost The Musical’ was the focus and the songs are still running through my head – very catchy! In fact as we were in the Dress Circle bar working on the songs, the actual cast of the touring production were doing their get in in the auditorium and there were some spooky sounds coming from the main stage! I worked on a selection of songs from the show with those attending. In the 2 hour workshop we got through, ‘Here and Now’, ‘Unchained Melody’ – of course, ‘More’, ‘With You’ and ‘Nothing Can Stop Another Day’. They are great songs penned by Grammy Award winning Glen Ballard, Eurythmics, Dave Stewart and Bruce Joel Rubin – screen writer for the original Ghost. Act Now workshops are adult musical theatre workshops ran by yours truly, once a month and cover a different musical / show appearing at Mayflower Theatre each month!
