The Power of Singing

Singing has so many benefits –  it is good for our heart, health, wellbeing and our immune system. The Power of Singing aims to explore how singing supports our heath and well being. To understand the benefits of singing on our bodies and minds and to discover what creates these benefits. By looking into the origins of singing, what it is and how it is made will help us understand what the benefits of singing are, what lies behind its power and show evidence to support this.

As a singer and teacher of singing I am well aware of the wonderful benefits of singing on our well being, physical and mental health. Having ran my choir for 9 years members regularly expressed how great they felt during and after our choir sessions.
