Day 7

Day 7 of A Song A Day – 30 Day Challenge and today is a sad day as in the news Cecil The Lion, the head of 2 prides of lions has been hunted and killed in Zimbabwe by an American Dentist. This has really upset me and made me very angry so I needed to choose a song that would honour Cecil and his bravery. I chose ‘Be A Lion’ from The Wiz, which I sang when I was in a production of The Wiz playing Dorothy back when I was 18. Has singing it made me feel better? It has made me feel stronger and determined to help save helpless animals from mans useless trophy hunting and cruelty.
