Day 8

After yesterday and a song for Cecil The Lion I have decided to stay with the nature theme and sing Colours Of The Wind from Pochahontas. Before it I felt ok, if not still very moved by yesterdays news of Cecil. Whilst singing the song though I could feel the muscles in my back engaging, my shoulder blades coming together and the muscles either side of my spine waking up, my body connecting engaging and connecting. Singing is an aerobic exercise and increases the blood flow which is great for our health and feeling more awake and alert. Even sitting down and singing I could feel my body waking up and as I sang with more energy especially for the higher notes and also with the story of the song I could feel the energy in my muscles increase, which is only better news for me, my health and energy levels!
