with Lisa Faye Broadhead
We all feel great when we sing and research shows that singing is good for our heart, health, and minds; it can help reduce stress, improve our mood and, as an aerobic exercise, it is good for our lungs and posture. But how and why?
Amazingly recent research, by Tenovus Cancer Care and the Royal College of Music, shows that singing together also has biological effects as well as social, physical and psychological.
The Power of Singing
At the Power of Singing, we will explore and feel these magical benefits as you immerse yourself in a day of singing. There won’t be any Monday morning blues after this feel good, health kick day led by Lisa Faye Broadhead and her colleagues. She will lead you through the fun techniques that can improve your day to day singing and useful warm up’s both physical and vocal, so you can continue feeling the benefits of singing, long after our day together is over.
