The Power of Singing

Explore the magical benefits of singing

with Lisa Faye Broadhead

We all feel great when we sing and research shows that singing is good for our heart, health, and minds; it can help reduce stress, improve our mood and, as an aerobic exercise, it is good for our lungs and posture. But how and why?

Amazingly recent research, by Tenovus Cancer Care and the Royal College of Music, shows that singing together also has biological effects as well as social, physical and psychological.

The Power of Singing

At the Power of Singing, we will explore and feel these magical benefits as you immerse yourself in a day of singing. There won’t be any Monday morning blues after this feel good, health kick day led by Lisa Faye Broadhead and her colleagues. She will lead you through the fun techniques that can improve your day to day singing and useful warm up’s both physical and vocal, so you can continue feeling the benefits of singing, long after our day together is over.

Whether your preferred singing space is usually the car, shower or stage, this day is for everyone who wants some ‘me time’ singing! We all deserve some ‘me time’ and what better way then making yourself feel great physically and mentally. Singing is like eating chocolate but without the calories, or going to the gym without the sweat!

Perhaps you’ve been thinking about joining a choir, or you don’t have time to join a choir or you’re already in a choir but would love to sing all day, rather than just for an hour…then this day is for you!

If you are over 18 years old, enjoy singing and want to realize it’s full magical power and the potential of your singing voice, then this day is for you. No previous experience required, no need to be able to read music, just enthusiasm and an interest in discovering the secrets. You will come away with a goody bag full of thoughts, benefits, exercises, songs, new friends and having unleashed your true singing power!

Realize your singing potential and release the magical power of your voice!
