Monday evening was a wonderful start to the week with me being invited to talk about my singing career on the high seas at Winchester’s Women’s Institute at St.Cross named the Kitchen Dancers!
What a welcoming group they were and they meet in the 14th century Hundred Men’s Hall, at St. Cross, Winchester. What a stunning area of Winchester.
It was a real pleasure to talk about my career of singing on cruise ships with facts and funny stories from my time spent either above the waves or below…in my cabin…an hour whizzed past. After several questions from the ladies I got them all singing which was a great way to end the evening, all washed down with a lovely glass of wine, very pleasant.
