5678 Summer Concert
Our 5678 Music Education Summer Concert is this coming sunday 14th June and sets to be a fantastic afternoon of songs and music. We are especially excited this year as we have been loaned the use of Cranbourne Farm, Winchester which is a stunning venue and used for professional music concerts!
In total 20 of my students will be performing a huge selection of music. Piano pieces will take us on a journey range Chopin to Ludovico Einaudi to Coldplay, and songs will include a trip down London’s West End with Les Miserables, Sweet Charity, Into the Woods and 42nd St. The 5678 Choir will also join in the fun performing a selection of songs from Wicked, Godspell and Chicago. There will also be very special performances from students who have been performing in Hampshire Youth Orchestra’s playing other instruments – a flute solo from Grade 8 flautist Annabel Pemberton, a violin duet from Nathalie & Isabel Ryan and a Jazz interlude from Maddison Douch who is off to Guildhall to study Jazz vocals in September.
Many thanks must go to The Cranbourne Farm Concert Society for allowing us to use their stunning barn and supporting local musicians.
