You want to learn the piano. You want to progress. Maybe you’ve reached a certain level, a certain Grade, and got stuck. Let me put the enjoyment and the fulfilment back into it for you!
I was very fortunate, when I was young, to have two great piano teachers who just made it fun. And that’s the approach – the tradition if you like – that I carry on.
I believe that music is about trying. I believe it’s more about practice than about talent. I think that, whatever you want to do, you just have to try. And I make it as easy as possible for you to try.
I make it as easy as possible for you to try
I believe in progression. I believe in setting goals. I don’t believe that they should always be about exams. I believe that if something isn’t happening, then we try it a different way or we try something else.
The piano can be a solitary instrument to learn, so we do all we can to break that up – with duets, with accompaniments and with concerts.
So, whatever stage you have reached in piano, let me help you go further with more enjoyment! You will benefit from the atmosphere, the story-telling dimension, as well as the depth of expertise that are woven into my approach to the piano.
